Nobodies is a series of photographs depicting deserted spaces stripped of human presence. The photos were taken during long lonely walks where Walking became a catalyst to “[…] escape the idea itself of identity, the desire to be someone, to have a name and a history…” (Frederic Gross).Walking fuels a return to the senses, which activate our imaginative capacities and helps us to forget ourselves. This act of disconnecting from the real enable the photographer to receive visual stimuli in pure, unfiltered form. Immersed in its own inner contemplation it translates the act of observation into exploration of absence, in urban habitat.
